My pamper routine

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all feeling great and relaxed after the weekend! Because weekend for me is the time for a little bit of pampering I thought I would share my current pamper routine with you! I do it more or less once a week, depending on my skin’s needs and in autumn it’s mainly about some serious moisturizing since my skin turned from oily to dry as soon as the weather changed.

I start off with washing my face obviously, but I decided not to include cleansers in this post because they are no different than my everyday routine and I will make a separate post about that in the near future. I then use the Clinique 7-day scrub cream and even though it’s supposed to be used daily, I use it once or twice a week. I love that it’s mild and not irritating on the skin at all but at the same time it helps to unclog pores and get rid of any dry patches so that your skin feels clean, smooth and refreshed. Then I spray my face with Uriage Thermal Water that really should be a part of my daily routine, but I am a tad too lazy to use it every day.

My next step is applying Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask to hydrate my skin. Unlike their Ginzing moisturizer that I reviewed here I find this not irritating on the skin even though it contains essential oils. I usually leave it on for a few hours when I’m staying at home and I wash it off in the shower. I love how it leaves my skin hydrated and oh-so-smooth that I can’t keep myself from touching it all the time.

After washing the mask off I apply my all time favourite nighttime face cream that is also a part of my daily routine – Cetaphil Daily Advance (DA) Ultra Hydrating Lotion. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I’ve been using it for the past two years. It is hydrating and soothing for the skin and it doesn’t clog pores or aggravate acne. It leaves the skin a bit greasy after application but well, nobody watches me when I sleep (hopefully) so I don’t care honestly. I then apply a thick layer of L’occitane 100% Shea butter on the lips because moisturized lips are fuller lips.

As for the body pamper routine I have only two products. In the shower I use the Yves Rocher Exfoliating Botanical Key that is a detoxifying scrub. It might not be suitable for someone who has sensitive skin because it’s very harsh, but for those of you who need more serious scrubbing it will be perfect. It clears the pores, gets rid of some dry skin and little bumps. I also love the refreshing scent it has, it smells a bit like citrus, lemongrass and just greenery.

The star of my routine is TAO rich and nourishing body cream by Rituals. It is my absolute favourite among all body products I’ve ever used, I prefer it even over The Body Shop body butters. It’s very moisturizing but at the same time it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and is incredibly smoothening. The scent is addictive – to me it smells like white flowers mixed with sweet almond, amazing. Luxury packaging makes it also even more pleasurable to use. Rituals cosmetics are available in Poland only at the duty free zone at Warsaw Chopin airport (maybe other bigger airports as well) or you can order them online at with free delivery.

Have you used any of these products? What are your favourite items for “pamper routine”?
